FAQ's

Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant

Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant is water based and curing is dependent on temperature, air movement and humidity. In normal temperatures of 20 °C (68°F), 1 mm (40 mil, 0.0394") will take approximately 6 - 8 hours. Please keep in mind the thicker the product is applied in 1 coat, the curing time goes up exponentially. It is best to do lighter coats and build up your thickness.
Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant is a soft and flexible membrane. It is not designed to be a walking surface. You can tackiness once it's cured. This will dissipate over time. You can wash the surface with a salt water solution to help.
Apply to a dry surface which is free of dirt, debris, oil, grease, coal tar, efflorescence, flaking paint, silicone, solvenated materials or other contaminants.
This is normal on the surface, the waterproofing is not affected.
Liquid Rubber Seam Tape is used to bridge gaps, cracks, seams, vents, protrusions…
It is not recommended to the apply your final thickness in 1 application. It is best to build up your thickness in multiple coats allowing curing time between.
No, Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant has specially designed polymers that are UV resistant.
Yes, it is a water based product containing no solvents or VOC's (volatile organic compounds).
Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant now has a new version of colors.
Currently we do not have a certification allowing this use.
Soap and water, baby oil, bristle brush.
Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant should be applied above 5°C (41°F). Avoid hot, direct sunlight applications.
Small air bubbles can form from using a roller. This will dissipate as you build the membrane. Applying in hot, direct sunlight can cause the product to rapidly cure and cause small blisters. If you see Large blisters, this is usually an indication of moisture underneath the membrane.

Liquid Rubber Textured Sealant

Generally no. Textured Sealant adds waterproofing resistance. Use Waterproof Sealant to waterproof. Sealing with the Urethane Clear Coat helps.
Liquid Rubber Textured Sealant is water based and curing is dependent on temperature, air movement and humidity. In normal temperatures of 20 °C (68°F), 0.5 mm (20 mil, 0.0197") will take approximately 3 - 4 hours.
Apply to a dry surface which is free of dirt, debris, oil, grease, coal tar, efflorescence, flaking paint, silicone, solvenated materials or other contaminants.
It is not recommended to the apply your final thickness in 1 application. It is best to build up your thickness in multiple coats allowing curing time between.
No, Liquid Rubber Textured Sealant has specially designed polymers that are UV resistant.
Yes, it is a water based product containing no solvents or VOC's (volatile organic compounds).
It is best to use a Textured Roller when applying.
Soap and water, bristle brush.
Liquid Rubber Textured Sealant should be applied above 10°C (10°F). Avoid hot, direct sunlight applications.

Liquid Rubber MetalSafe Sealant

Liquid Rubber MetalSafe Sealant is used for protecting and waterproofing on metal surfaces.
Yes, you can go over light rust with MetalSafe Sealant. It has a corrosion inhibitor which removes the need for priming.
Liquid Rubber MetalSafe Sealant is water based and curing is dependent on temperature, air movement and humidity. In normal temperatures of 20 °C (68°F), 1 mm (40 mil, 0.0394") will take approximately 6 - 8 hours. Liquid Rubber MetalSafe Sealant only comes in black but can be top coated with Colored Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant.
Currently we do not have a certification allowing this use.
Soap and water, baby oil, bristle brush.
Liquid Rubber Waterproof MetalSafe should be applied above 5°C (41°F). Avoid hot, direct sunlight applications as well.
Small air bubbles can form from using a roller. This will dissapate as you build the membrane. Applying in hot, direct sunlight can cause the product to rapidly cure and cause small blisters. If you see large blisters, this is usually an indication of moisture underneath the membrane.

Liquid Rubber Foundation Sealant

Liquid Rubber Foundation Sealant is used for protecting and waterproofing interior and exterior structures (Foundations, Basement Walls, Shower Liners).
Liquid Rubber Foundation Sealant is water based and curing is dependent on temperature, air movement and humidity. In normal temperatures of 20 °C (68°F), 1 mm (40 mil, 0.0394") will take approximately 6 - 8 hours. Liquid Rubber Seam Tape or Geo-Textile is used to bridge gaps, cracks, seams, vents, protrusions...
It is not recommended to the apply your final thickness in 1 application. It is best to build up your thickness in multiple coats allowing curing time between.
Yes, Liquid Rubber Foundation Sealant should not be exposed to UV over long periods of time.  Use Waterproof Sealant for UV protection.

Liquid Rubber Seam Tape

Liquid Rubber Seam Tape is used for sealing gaps, cracks, joints, tears, flashings, skylights, gutters....
Liquid Rubber Seam Tape sticks to virtually most surfaces except for silicone.
Yes, the paintable seam tape will begin to break down from UV over time.
Apply to a dry surface which is free of dirt, debris, oil, grease, coal tar, efflorescence, flaking paint, silicone, solvenated materials or other contaminants.
Liquid Rubber Seam Tape is a pressure sensitive adhesive. Apply and add pressure with your hands or a roller. Do not stretch.
