Description

EPDM/TPO Primer is a rubber polymer based roofing primer, and like its name; its been specifically designed for EPDM and TPO surfaces. Unlike thin primers that run and puddle, the high viscosity formulation promotes uniform coverage on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. This Primer does not react with atmospheric moisture allowing it to be opened and resealed for use at a later date.

Basic Use

Primer is used to prime EPDM and TPO roofing membranes to provide improved adhesion for Seam Tape, Liquid Rubber RV Roof Coating and other Liquid Rubber Coatings.

Surface Preparation

All work surfaces should be clean, dry; free of dirt, dust; debris, oils; un-adhered coatings, deteriorated membranes and other contaminants that may result in a surface that is uneven or not sound. If necessary, clean the surface with an approved EPDM or TPO membrane cleaner (ie. acetone) prior to the application of the Primer.

Coverage

  • 3.78L/1G Can
