For Step-By-Step Guides Specific to Your Project

1 Circle around step number design detail

All work surfaces should be clean, dry; free of dirt, dust; debris, oils; un-adhered coatings, deteriorated membranes and other contaminants that may result in a surface that is uneven or not sound.

2 Circle around step number design detail

Clean the surface with RV Smart Cleaner and wipe down with acetone prior to the application of the Primer. Primer is extremely sticky, it is best to apply on half the surface leaving a work area to stand on. Apply Primer then top coating (ie. RV Roof coating) and then repeat on the other half where you can stand on the completed side.

Still winter. Can't apply product until warmer and dryer

The primer I received had solids separation. Many chunks and clumps even after mixing with a drill powered paint mixer for over 2 minutes. I strained the primer through a piece of window screen before using. Seemed to work fine . I applied two coats before starting with the roof coating.

We purchase a 2007 to park on property we own and we use in the summer. I have never done anything like the roof redo and between product videos and phone calls clarifying the how tos of redoing the roof, it was a breeze and I am very pleased
