Liquid Rubber Polyurethane Deck Coating
The shipment arrived earlier then expected and was able to put the products to work. the Deck and Patio cleaner worked very well , giving the Liquid Rubber Primer a very clean surface to adhere to. Weather conditions were good ,dry and 15 to 22 degrees . Both the primer and the Polyurethane Deck Coating went on very well with a brush and roller . I was able to apply 3 coats of the deck coating. No rain in the forecast for the next 48 hours so it should set up well. So far I am pleased and favourably impressed ,but the real test will be the winter . I will be sure to get back to you when the snow is gone next spring.
My above ground Kayak Pool is 20 years old. I have spent those years trying to find a product that will work with plywood. Finally a product that works. It has a very professional finish look to it and appears that it will protect and seals the wood for many years. The Liquid Rubber poly textured finish system is easy to work with. It drys to a cement like finish. Be sure to tape off any edges for each coat and buy enough rollers and touch up brushes. Make it easy on yourself don't try to clean these, just dispose.
easy to put on with the cloth for seams....did not have any bubbling or lifting of those edges..To create a uniform application, I used a brush for the whole project - this is on a large part of my deck . If this was a dock, for instance, I would have used a roller. I picked a cool day - not sunny - the product did not dry too quickly and was very easy to work with. You do have tp pay attention, as it does not self level like paint does...So far...I love the product. And its price point!
applied 3 coats over two weeks time. Very thick and cement like, looks good dried quickly. This is exposed to afternoon sun I'll keep you posted as to it's state.
